My current work is with the Age Strong Commission, the City of Boston’s department dedicated to the well-being and engagement of older adults in the city. As a Communications Coordinator, I create flyers & social media posts that promote various programs & events that Age Strong creates for seniors. I also capture photos of events, develop and send out newsletters and email campaigns, and conduct more administrative responsibilities such as editing our website and securing language interpretation for constituents. The communications team also works on “Boston Seniority Magazine”, a monthly publication with content tailored to seniors & articles written by Age Strong staff.
